I have a well established company in the Carpentry & Construction business which I have been running for 30 years. Having completed a traditional apprenticeship with a local company and later working as his foreman, I felt this was a good grounding to start my own business.
I formed the company during the 80’s and since that time have built on a large and regular client list, of which, some have also become good friends. During this time I have worked on both large and small scale housing projects, including building my own home.
As a sole trader, I am able to work closely with carefully selected sub-contractors, with whom I have worked alongside for a number of years.
The main stay of the business is carpentry and joinery; whether on site for other company’s or private clients. Over the years we have developed extensions, designed, supplied and installed kitchens and bathrooms and carried out complete home refurbishment.
Also with the recent trend in hardwood flooring, we are able to install and provide various types of solid hardwood or engineered laminate flooring.
With a small joinery workshop, we welcome the challenge of the unusual and more personal projects which the workshop is well adapted for; we are able to undertake bespoke projects which need more attention than high production work, an example of these can be seen in the gallery and include, book cases, hall tables, wedding boxes and even a personal chess set!
Traditional cut and pitch roofing, loft conversions and decking are also jobs we like to take on, providing cutting lists and working with local authority to produce the final job. When required, we can provide working drawings and engineers structural calculations. When considered necessary or requested a Risk Assessment and Method Statement can be provided.
All work, whether large or small is approached with the intention of fair prices for work finished on time and with quality in mind.
